Arrows: move / rotate. Down: soft drop. Space: hard drop. P: pause.
🟦 How to play Tetris
Steer the falling tetrominoes into the well and pack them tight — fill a whole row with no gaps and it vanishes for points!
- Move left and right with ← →, and rotate with ↑ — on a phone, tap the ◀ ⟳ ▶ pad buttons.
- Drop faster with ↓ (soft) or slam it home with Space (hard) — or tap ▼ and ⤓ Drop.
- Clear lines to score: more rows at once means more points, and clearing four is a TETRIS!
- Pause anytime with P or the Pause button. Stack too high and it's game over.
💡 Every 10 lines bumps the level and speeds up the fall — leave a clean column for those juicy four-line Tetrises!
📜 Did you know? Alexey Pajitnov built the first Tetris in 1985 on a Soviet Elektronika 60 that had no graphics, so the falling pieces were drawn entirely from brackets.
