🂡 How to play Solitaire
Clear the table by building all four foundation piles up from Ace to King, one suit each. Free every card and you win!
- Move a card by tapping it (or click on desktop) to pick it up, then tapping its destination — a properly ordered run travels together.
- Build down the tableau in alternating colours (red on black, black on red); only a K can fill an empty column.
- Send home with a double-tap (or double-click) to auto-play a card onto its foundation when it fits.
- Deal by tapping the stock to flip a card to the waste; tap the empty stock to recycle the waste and go again.
💡 Don't rush to the foundations — keeping low cards in play often gives you the colour you need to unstick a column.
📜 Did you know? Microsoft's Solitaire was coded in 1988 by intern Wes Cherry with cards drawn by Susan Kare, and shipped with Windows 3.0 in 1990 partly to teach nervous users how to drag-and-drop with a mouse.
