🏓 How to play Pong
Defend your side and slip the ball past the CPU. First to 11 points takes the match!
Move your paddle with the mouse, a touch drag, the W/S or ↑/↓ keys, or the on-screen ▲/▼ buttons.
Serve by clicking the board, tapping the button, or pressing Space / Enter to launch each rally.
Score by sending the ball past the CPU's paddle — miss it yourself and the CPU gets the point.
Difficulty (Easy / Medium / Hard) sets how fast the CPU paddle and serves move — your choice is remembered.
💡 Where you hit the ball steers it: clip it with the paddle's edge for a sharp angle the CPU can't reach. The rally speeds up with every bounce!
📜 Did you know? Engineer Allan Alcorn built Pong for Atari in 1972, and the first test machine reportedly "broke" because its coin box overflowed with quarters.
