Form a "mill" — three of your men in a marked line — to remove an enemy man. Reduce your opponent to two men, or leave them with no legal move, to win. Play a friend on one device, or take on the computer.
💡 A "running mill" — two mills sharing a point, so sliding one man back and forth re-forms a mill every turn — is devastating. Build toward one, and block your opponent from doing the same.
📜 Did you know? Nine Men's Morris is ancient: a board is cut into the roofing slabs of the Temple of Kurna in Egypt, and the game was wildly popular in medieval Europe — Shakespeare even references it in A Midsummer Night's Dream ("The nine-men's morris is fill'd up with mud").
