🔢 How to play 2048
Slide numbered tiles around the board and merge matching pairs. Reach the mighty 2048 tile to win!
- Slide every tile at once with the ← ↑ → ↓ arrows or W A S D — on a phone, swipe or tap the on-screen arrow pad.
- Merge two tiles of the same number to fuse them into one worth double, adding that total to your score.
- Keep going until the board fills up — if no moves are left, it's game over.
💡 Pick one corner and keep your biggest tile parked there — it stops your board getting jumbled.
